On July 22nd, The Ray Marshall Motorsports team rolled into the pits at Attica Raceway Park with Caleb Griffith behind the wheel and Brady Shull spinning the wrenches. Griffith flew to the front of his heat race to take a commanding lead and the heat race win. The draw for the feature was disappointing with a 9; starting the Bumblebee Express in the 5th row. Griffith battled for 30 laps through traffic to bring home a 6th place finish. The team’s solid performance lands them in 2nd spot in the track’s championship point’s battle.
On July 23rd, we went to Atomic Speedway for a thrilling 25 lapper. The Ray Marshall Motorsports 33M, driven by Griffith, started the feature in the 7th spot. Caleb ran up to the front with ease and settled into the 3rd spot. With 7 to go Griffith, rolled into the 2nd spot and ran down the leader. With 4 laps to go, a stop bolt broke and took the handling of the car away. Griffith was able to hang on to finish 3rd.
On July 23rd, Matt Westfall took the 360 version of the Bumblebee Express to Waynesfield; starting in the 11th spot. The RMM rocket finished in 5th.
