Both drivers advanced to the A-Main, where Weir finished 11th and Hastings 20th.
8/21 – Attica speedway – Caleb Griffith started 4th in his heat and finished in 2nd. He started 2nd in the A-Main and finished in 3rd place overall.
8/22 – MMS team traveled to Butler Speedway in Michigan for an All-Star Circuit of Champions Show. After qualifying 6th quickest overall, Caleb Griffith started up front in his heat in the 33M. After getting run over the cushion and his car and another both spun out, Griffith found himself on the tail. Griffith managed to race his way to a 3rd place finish and into a 3rd place spot to start the feature and dash. As the feature kicked off, the 33m slipped back to 6th spot. Griffith’s car begins to come to him as he battles his way back up through the field. After a caution, Griffith found himself in 3rd place behind “The King of Sprints”, Steve Kinser, and the #20 of Greg Wilson. With 5 to go, Griffith stays with the leaders. As the white flag comes out for Kinser, Griffith takes the high side and in turn 3 runs passes Wilson with ease. When the 33m reaches turn 4, Griffith makes the pass blowing by Steve Kinser for the WIN to stun the crowd!! Special thanks to Ken Meggitt for his contribution to our team.
