*Waynesfield was rained out on August 23rd; so, Beau Stewart traveled to Wayne County Speedway. Beau started off the evening in the 33M by being fast qualifier in his group and 10th quickest overall. Beau started his heat on the pole and finished 2nd. That put him in the top 12 and gave him the opportunity to redraw for starting position in the feature. He drew a 3. Beau piloted his 360 powered machine to a solid third place finish.
*August 18th News: Ray Marshall Motorsports will have team cars at (2) tracks again this week. Beginning Thursday, August 20th, Logan Hupp will be racing the 2M at The Sprint Car Smack Down III at Kokomo Speedway in Indiana. This is a 3 day USAC event. Saturday evening, Derek Hastings in 32M and Beau Stewart in 33M will be competing in the Buckeye Machine Non Wing Sprints at Waynesfield Speedway.
*August 16th @ Wayne County: Buckeye Machine B.O.S.S. Non-wing sprint heats – Derek Hastings in the 32M started 4th in his heat; after leading a few laps, finished in second spot. In the 2M, Logan Hupp was up next and started in the 6th spot. Logan quickly made his way to the lead spot easily winning his heat. Beau Stewart who piloted the Ray Marshall Motorsports winged 33M, started on the pole and finished 2nd in the first winged heat. After redrawing for starting positions, Derek drew a 4 and Logan 9. At the start of the feature, the 2M of Logan Hupp had a mechanical issue and was unable to start the feature. Derek finished the night in 6th spot. Beau Stewart started in the number 2 spot in his 33M machine, led the first 8 laps of the feature. Beau drove his 360 to a hard fought 3rd place finish.
*August 9th @ Waynesfield Raceway: Logan Hupp in the 2M started 3rd in his heat and finished 2nd narrowly missing the heat win. In the feature, Logan started 8th and captured a 5th place finish. Derek Hastings 32M started 9th in his heat and finished 3rd. In the feature, Derek started 10th and finished the night in 14th spot.
*August 8th @ Limaland Motorsports Park: Beau Stewart in the 33M started 7th in his heat and finished 3rd. In the feature, Beau started 9th; finished 9th.
*Ray Marshall Motorsports is pleased to announce, Kody Swanson of Kingsburg, CA will be piloting the 33M at Waynesfield Raceway Park on August 2nd to defend the team’s title as reigning Jack Hewitt Classic, Buckeye Machine, non-wing champions. Kody has had great success in his career, currently leading the USAC Silver Crown points, being only the 19th driver to sweep a USAC sprint and midget doubleheader, and holding the record for fastest driver in the history of USAC Traditional Silver Crown with an impressive 146.12 mph. He has had wins all over the United States including a recent B.O.S.S. win at Fremont Speedway and USAC Silver Crown wins at Terra Haute and the Hoosier Hundred at the Indiana State Fair. To further show his versatility as a driver, Kody piloted the 33M winged 360 at Limaland Motorsports Park and brought home a 7th place finish.
